Outside of Nashville

Our daughter recommended that Becky and I should take a little trip down to Leipers Fork. Leipers Fork is nothing more than a crossroads with a few stores  and a couple of restaurants. It's about 45 minutes southwest of Nashville.

Puckett's Grocery and Restaurant is well known as a music venue. We were there in the morning and the music did not start until the evening. We just grabbed a soda and decided to take a ride through the surrounding countryside. I have heard it said that 1% of the people have 90% of the money.  Well, I have decided that 90% of the 1% live around Leiper's Fork. I have never seen so many expensive estates in one area.

Street view of one estate.

And another

And another.

This goes on for miles and miles. Black wooden fences everywhere, manicured pastures and hardly a cow in sight.  I guess the people who live here do not want to be bothered with smelling cow manure.

I never felt so poor in all my life. Well, back to the real world. It was time for lunch and we had just enough money to go to the Loveless Cafe on the way back to Nashville.

This place has great food and is also a famous music venue. Someday I hope to come back and enjoy the entertainment.
