First of all, you need a boat. If you don't have a boat, go with a friend who has a boat as we did this afternoon.
Second, you need a rising tide and a favorable wind. Once you are out on the water, you shut the engine off and drift.
Third, you need some light snacks, crackers, cheese, peanuts, etc and adult refreshments.
Fourth, and the most important thing is having some good friends to share the experience. This afternoon it was the Taylor's and the Taylor's (unrelated) who are friends of ours from Garner.
Left to right: John Taylor's feet, his wife Nancy, Doug Taylor and his wife Paula and the top of Becky's head
The scenery was beautiful. The conversation was stimulating. It was one of those afternoons where all the conditions were there for a perfect cruise.
If you are still having trouble grasping the concept, send me an email at mangumf@aol.com and I will be glad to take you on a booze cruise.
