Been There, Done That

We are "child sitting" the two grandchildren in Winston Salem this weekend while our daughter and her husband take a well deserved mini vacation in Asheville. It is raining outside and I have a few free minutes to work on the blog while the kids play video games. 

This has been an uneventful week so far and I have little to write about. As I sit here, I find myself wondering what might be interesting to other classmates. My mind drifts back in time and I recall many things.  I recall old friends, things that happened in school, things that happened after school, getting married, starting a family, etc.  In 68 years these eyes have seen a lot of things. Some things I don't care to remember, but some memories are precious. 

I have been fortunate enough to do a little traveling in my time and have seen some things that are of interest to me if not to you. I keep a board on Pinterest called "Been There, Done That" where I pin places that I have visited. If you don't care about other people's experiences, just skip this post. Maybe I will have something a little more interesting soon.
