Still in Bloom

Well, summer is nearly gone but things are still blooming here on the farm. It will not be long before the first frost and it will all be over. The days are getting shorter and the leaves will start changing colors soon. Oh, how I hate winter.

The pampas grass is strutting its plumage like a proud peacock.

The zinnias have been stunning this summer.

Even the petunias are looking good.

The crepe myrtle is ready for the Crepe Myrtle Festival this weekend.

My small pear tree has been loaded with pears. Enough to make a few pear cakes and some to share with my friends. It will all be over soon.

OH, HOW I HATE WINTER!!!!!
